Gold with Distinction!

The High School Symphonic Band competed recently in a NYSSMA Major Organization Festival and received a rating of Gold with Distinction on level 6 music which is the most difficult music in NYSSMA rating system. Gold with Distinction is an honor that only a few bands in the entire state receive on any given year and is tribute to this year's senior class musicians.

Additionally, the band and the orchestra competed at a Music Festival at Darien Lake and once again received top honors. The orchestra received a rating of Superior and the Symphonic Band received another Gold with Distinction and the award for the overall best band of the festival.

SCHOOL AGE

  CHILD CARE

   YMCA

Looking for a safe place for your child(ren) to go to before or after school?  Register for SACC! The YMCA of the Greater Tri Valley provides school age child care for the area district and our program services your school specifically! Our program is geared toward kindergarten children and children up to 12 years of age. Our program follows the school calendar and is available for families on snow days, vacation weeks and ½ days of school.  Financial assistance is available and is granted based on available resources of the YMCA. YMCA child care programs are non-profit programs.  Our licensed programs are designed to provide each child with a variety of positive, healthy, and interesting activities throughout the week.  All staff are trained and experienced in working with children.  A child spends a substantial amount of time in our program, during which significant developmental impact occurs.  In all settings, ideas of self worth are developed, relationships with peers and adults are experienced, and young bodies grow strong and competent. The YMCA SACC program promotes the character values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility everyday!  The YMCA of the Greater Tri-Valley SACC Philosophy is to deliver a program in a positive environment of safety, support, and care that will allow children the opportunity to relax and participate in a variety of interesting age appropriate activities.

Please contact our SACC Coordinator, Danielle DeStefanis (ddestefanis@ymcatrivalley.org)
