District Band is a select ensemble comprised of 5th and 6th grade band students. In order to become a member, a student must be recommended by a teacher.

District Band typically meets on Tuesday evenings to prepare for the annual “Music in our Schools Month” concert in March. The concert features the District Band, as well as the District Orchestra and 7th Grade Band.

Typically Tuesday evenings, 5:30 – 6:45 p.m. (rehearsal)
Middle School Band Room, 7th/8th Grade Building

How to Join:
In order to join District Band, a student must be recommended by a teacher. 5th Grade students who are recommended will receive an invitation to participate in 6th grade. Members must maintain both academic eligibility and good behavior to continue to participate.

Students are given informational packets with all concert information and a rehearsal schedule upon being invited.
