• On June 11, the Westmoreland Road Elementary third grade students held their morning and evening showings of the annual Wax Museum.

Each student in Mrs. Famolaro’s, Miss Roberts’ and Miss Manderson's classes chose a historical or influential person to research. The students read a book, completed a digital presentation, created a poster board and curated a costume to match their chosen person. Families, students, faculty and district administration walked around the gallery to observe the "wax figures" and view their displays. Attendees also got to learn many new facts and astonishing information from the students' boards. The third graders did a fantastic job staying in character during the hour-long showing! Congratulations to the students on completing their amazing projects. Your time, effort and hard work thoroughly paid off.
