• "If you think you can, you can; If you think you can't, think again"

Each student is unique and deserving of our attention; we must hear beyond the student's words and actions to what is really being communicated; that we must help the student towards greater self-understanding and self-direction.

We must work closely with the parents in reaching the goal of helping the student become a mature, independent, contributing and responsible individual.

The role of the counselor is to contribute towards helping students to evaluate, assess and understand his or her potential.

Aid in this is the cooperative relationship between the middle school staff, students, parents, families and community that will help ensure each student's success.
