I hold a BS in Elementary Education and an MS in Teaching Reading. I am also a NYS certified athletic coach with certification in first aid, CPR, and concussion management. In addition, I have received certification as member of the Positive Coaching Alliance. I am also certified by NYS in Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting.

In September of 1981, I sat in Miss Plescia's homeroom wondering what my first day at Parkway would be like. 33 years later, I'm still at Parkway and each September I still wonder what that first day will be like! Other than four years at Daemen College in Amherst, NY, I have been in Whitesboro my entire life. Despite all the critics and the naysayers, I believe it is the greatest place to work, live and raise my family!
In addition to teaching, I also coach football and basketball for Whitesboro. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, attending my children's many events, reading, and fishing.
In regards to the fishing, when your child gets to 7th grade, don't believe any of the lies a certain math teacher tells about his fishing skills!
It is my goal to recreate for your children the kind of experience that made me love my hometown and alma mater the way I do!
