• R.E.D. Folder

    Read Every Day

The R.E.D. folder is a part of your child's nightly reading homework. By reading with your child and asking supportive questions, you will promote and practice fluency and comprehension skills to support this journey!

For homework each night, please do the following:

Have your child read the book located in their R.E.D. folder.

Ask your child three to four comprehension questions from the list provided.

When your child is able to read the book fluently and correctly, complete the reading log and return the folder to school.

I will listen to your child read the book and give them a sticker for their reading log.

Your child can then pick another book to take home and practice reading.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at rrusso@wboro.org. Thank you for all you do to support your child’s learning!
