English as a New Language (ENL)

The English as a New Language (ENL) program represents more than ten countries and many different languages. There are two dedicated teachers of English who are shared among the seven buildings in the District. The program is dynamic, with students staying in the classroom for language instruction and taken out of the classroom for small-group directed instruction correlated to the language of the general classroom. The language of math, science, social studies, reading, writing, listening and speaking is incorporated into daily instruction.
