Pesticide Notification

School districts and BOCES are required to maintain a list of parents or guardians who wish to receive written notification 48 hours prior to application of pesticide, that is covered by notification requirements, at their child(ren)’s facility. If you wish to be included on the School District Notification List, please contact Kevin Storsberg, Director of Facilities Management, at 266-3312. You will then receive advance notification of a pesticide application at your child(ren)’s facility.

For further information about the products being applied, including any warnings that appear on the label of the pesticide(s) that are pertinent to the protection of humans, animals or the environment, call the National Pesticide Telecommunication Network at 1-800-858-7378 or the New York State Department of Health Center for Environmental Health at 1-800-458-1158.
