Google Workspace for Education
The Whitesboro Central School District uses Google Workspace for Education as part of our continuing efforts to provide our students with opportunities to creatively learn, engage and communicate with one another.
Google Workspace for Education is a secure, free, cloud-based platform widely used by K-12 schools, colleges, and universities throughout the state, country and even the world. It enables our students and staff to communicate, create documents, and collaborate with one another through the use of e-mail and a number of other tools. Students and teachers can access Google Workspace for Education on any compatible internet enabled device both in and out of school, making “any time, any place” learning a reality.
Since Google Workspace for Education is considered an extension of the classroom, the Whitesboro Central School District’s Acceptable Use Policy, Internet Safety Policy, and Student Code of Conduct apply to all district Google accounts. Our filtering and security policies ensure that Google Workspace for Education remains a secure online learning environment for students and staff.
