The Speech and Language program offers services in the areas of speech and language (i.e., articulation, phonology, fluency, receptive language, expressive language and social language). An individual assessment, as well as input from teachers and parents, determine the need for services.
Speech-Language Improvement services are offered to students who have mild speech and/or language delays. Services are provided based upon the child's individual needs.
Speech-Language Impaired services are offered under the Committee on Special Education. These services are offered to students demonstrating speech and/or language delays that are impacting their academic progress. Services are provided depending upon the child's individual needs.
