Hello and Welcome to my website!  I'm Mrs. Bacon, and I've been with the district since 2004. Over that time, I taught both 7th and 8th grade English. For the last few years, I've been teaching ELA Strategies/Reading. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary English Education and a Master's Degree in K-12 Literacy from SUNY Cortland and several years of middle school teaching experience before I came to Whitesboro. I'm an avid reader, especially mysteries and books that are popular with my students. One of my favorite things to do as an English/Reading teacher is to help my students find just the right book to read.
