10/31/22 - Hart's Hill Fifth Grade Recess Play

Fifth grade students at Hart's Hill Elementary School decided to use their recess time creatively!  A group of students worked cooperatively to plan, organize and perform a play for their fifth grade peers and teachers.

Students, otherwise known as "the theater club," practiced their parts every recess with the goal of performing a version of "Hocus Pocus" on October 31. The students not only held one performance, but two; one on October 31 and an encore presentation on November 1. After the last performance, they announced that they would continue their endeavors and host their second play prior to Thanksgiving recess. 

When asked what their next project would be, they responded that it would be a surprise. Kudos to this student-led group. We can't wait to see what the next performance will be!
