12/15/22 - Finding Peace During the Holidays

On December 15, Whitesboro Jr./Sr. High students met in the high school cafeteria to “Find Peace during the Holidays.” Activities put together by School Support Staff and Hospice, allowed students to engage in the Hospice and Palliative Care, Light Up Your Life campaign. Students wrote notes to encourage others and hung them on a small holiday tree. Additionally, there were many resources to engage students in conversations about their mental health and where they can find support. There were also de-stressing toys such as stress balls, fidget spinners and tokens with encouraging words.
