12/21/2022 - High School Hockey Players Visit Classroom

On December 21, Whitesboro High School hockey players visited Deerfield Elementary School to give students gifts and read stories. Each child was given a gift of their choice and was encouraged to share it with each other. The students enjoyed listening to the hockey players read books such as “The Night Before Christmas.” Afterward, they played with their toys with the hockey players. The class and teachers are grateful for the generosity of the hockey team and look forward to seeing them again next year.
