Play for a Purpose Staff Volleyball Tournament

After a long hiatus, West Road brought back some friendly competition and community fun for a wonderful cause. Play for a Purpose, a staff volleyball tournament, was held in the high school gym, and all four elementary schools showed off their skills in an effort to claim the coveted trophy! 

A “round-robin tournament” took place as students cheered for their favorite teachers and staff members. Thank you to all the amazing families that came out to support the fundraiser. It came down to a close championship match between the West Road Wreckers and the Deerfield Diggers; with Deerfield coming away with the trophy in an overtime win! All proceeds from the evening went to the American Cancer Society.
