Utica Comets Visit Westmoreland Road!

The Utica Comets 2022 Coloring Contest occurs annually for students in kindergarten through fifth grade and saw participation from 20 schools all across the Mohawk Valley. The schools participated in the contest to give their students the opportunity to creatively color a Utica Comets picture in his or her own way, showing off their artistic abilities. The winners were chosen by both the Utica Comets players and staff. Prizes include custom team signed jerseys, Comets’ VIP experiences, player classroom appearances, pizza parties with mascot Naudie and more! For the grand prize winners, prizes include street hockey equipment for their school, a custom team signed jersey, a Comets premier VIP experience and an appearance at their school by Utica Comets players.

Deborah Root, was the grand prize winner in the Utica Comets coloring contest. Part of Deborah's prize included new street hockey equipment for the West. Rd. physical education department. Comets players came to West. Rd. to deliver the equipment and play a game of street hockey with Deborah and Mrs. Zalatan's fifth grade class.
