Whitesboro Installs Electric Charging Stations

The Whitesboro CSD recently installed two electric charging stations on the middle school campus. The equipment and installation costs were covered under grant money provided by National Grid and NYSERDA.

The District partnered with PlugIn Stations Online (PISO) on the installation of the stations, and worked alongside Energetics, National Grid and NYSERDA to bring this forward-thinking initiative to life.

As New York State continues to take steps to increase electric vehicle usage, the district will also take steps to educate our students on this technology. 

The Whitesboro CSD is the first educational facility in this region to receive these grants and is excited to experience the benefits that this technology can provide.
