On October 19, new members of the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) were inducted during a ceremony held in the middle school auditorium.

Opening remarks were made by Middle School Assistant Principal Mr. Spost and students then spoke about each of the NJHS values. NJHS President Mitchell Buley spoke about character and service, NJHS Vice President Milania Brown spoke about citizenship, NJHS Secretary Emma Jerome spoke about leadership and NJHS Treasurer Ryan Nassif spoke about scholarship.

Certificates were given to each new member of NJHS and Mr. Scott, a science teacher at Parkway, was the guest speaker. Following the guest speaker, Middle School Principal Mr. Egresits provided the closing remarks.

Congratulations to the newest members of NJHS!
