10/2/2023 - Middle School Creek Week

On October 2, Mrs. Butka, Ms. Dewan and Mrs. Dote's seventh grade science classes participated in Creek Week. The students spent two days outside to collect water data and specimens found in the Sauquoit Creek. Following the collection of specimens, the students spent an additional two days in the lab, cataloging the live macroinvertebrates and analyzing the data. The purpose of this data collection and analysis was to determine the health of the local ecosystem.
