4/17-4/18/2024 - Introduction to the Electric School Bus

Whitesboro Central School District, in collaboration with Oneida County Emergency Services, sponsored an introduction to the electric school bus for first responders, police, fire and emergency personnel on April 17-18. This program was presented by Matthews Buses Inc.

Attendees received information on battery technology, components and safety procedures as they relate to electric buses as well as an introduction to the new electric bus, “Jouley.”

A total of 143 people attended the event over the two days that it was held.
