5/21/2024 - Deerfield First Grade Animal Wax Museum

On May 21, Deerfield Elementary School held its annual First Grade Animal Wax Museum.

Each of the first grade students in Mrs. DiBrango, Mrs. Nicotera and Mrs. Rumble’s classes dressed as different animals and posed in front of their projects, which included a diorama and a poster board with facts about the animal they were representing. Families and district residents had the opportunity to walk through and see each animal on display, including lobsters, arctic foxes, prairie dogs, emperor penguins, coyotes, red pandas and many more.

Thank you to all who helped make the Animal Wax Museum project a success once again, and thank you to all who stopped by to see the students’ hard work!
