Fourth graders at Marcy Elementary recently completed a unit on Native Americans of New York State. During the unit, students learned about how Native Americans used items available in nature for their food, clothing and shelter.

For a final unit project, each student had the choice of creating a longhouse, an Iroquois village, an article of Native American clothing, or a model explaining how Native Americans found their food through hunting, gathering and planting. The students' projects came out amazing!

The fourth grade students hosted a walk-by museum for their fellow Marcy students, teachers and staff to check out their hard work. We are so proud of all the research, hard work and creativity that the fourth grade students put into their projects!
