Capital Improvements
The Whitesboro Central School District Board of Education and administration continuously work
to ensure that the District's learning buildings and facilities are up-to-date, safe, clean and conducive to learning. In May 2023 District voters approved a proposition for a 2024 Capital Project.
The scope of the project is District-wide, and will address items such as:
- Middle School and High School Home and Career classroom renovations
- Nurse and classroom renovations at Deerfield Elementary
- Gymnasium floor rehabilitation at the High School and Middle School
- Accessibility for those with special needs
- ADA compliant bathroom renovations
- High School Auditorium lighting upgrades
- Baseball and softball turf field upgrades
- Exterior lighting upgrades
- Insulation improvements
- New digital marquee signage
- Instructional Technology infrastructure
- Safety and security upgrades
- Building structural needs
- Middle School Auditorium entrance rehabilitation
- High School science and art room upgrades
- New playscapes at Marcy and Deerfield Elementary Schools
