Capital Improvements

The Whitesboro Central School District Board of Education and administration continuously work
to ensure that the District's learning buildings and facilities are up-to-date, safe, clean and conducive to learning. In May 2023 District voters approved a proposition for a 2024 Capital Project.

The scope of the project is District-wide, and will address items such as:

  • Middle School and High School Home and Career classroom renovations
  • Nurse and classroom renovations at Deerfield Elementary
  • Gymnasium floor rehabilitation at the High School and Middle School
  • Accessibility for those with special needs
  • ADA compliant bathroom renovations
  • High School Auditorium lighting upgrades
  • Baseball and softball turf field upgrades
  • Exterior lighting upgrades
  • Insulation improvements
  • New digital marquee signage
  • Instructional Technology infrastructure
  • Safety and security upgrades
  • Building structural needs
  • Middle School Auditorium entrance rehabilitation
  • High School science and art room upgrades
  • New playscapes at Marcy and Deerfield Elementary Schools
