Special Programs and Services

The Whitesboro Central School District’s Special Programs and Services Department provides and/or coordinates services for more than 500 students with disabilities ranging in age from 3 to 21.

Children with special academic, social/emotional, behavioral and physical needs are provided a high quality education in the least restrictive environment possible.

The Department also conducts a wide range of assessments and consultations and provides numerous services, including but not limited to psychological services, counseling, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, teacher of the hearing impaired, teacher of the visually impaired, orientation and mobility training and vocational training.
