Budget Vote Information

The annual budget vote for the fiscal year 2026-2027 by the qualified voters of the Whitesboro Central School District will be held at the Parkway Middle School, Deerfield Elementary School and Marcy Elementary School on Tuesday, May 19 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Please see the information below regarding what will be on the ballot.

Board of Education Election

There are three (3) candidates running for two (2) seats, each for a three (3) year term.


The candidates will appear on the ballot in the following order:

  • Mr. Brian McQueen
  • Dr. Jonathan Henderson
  • Ms. Erica Schoff

Propositions

Proposition 1:
School Buses

Authorization to Purchase:

  • Five 66-Passenger Diesel Buses
  • Three 30-Passenger Gas Buses
     
  • Total cost of replacing the eight buses not to exceed $1,315,000
  • The District's State Aid reimbursement is 76.5%
  • Net Cost for the Eight Buses is $1,315,000


Based on annual replacement cycle
of eight buses.

Proposition 2:
2017 Capital Reserve Fund

Authorization to withdraw from 2017 Capital Reserve Fund for:

  • Information Tech Equipment
  • Safety/Security Equipment
