Timeline

First Phase (CRRSAA Scope)

This project will address any work scope that exceeded the funding of the CRRSAA Grant. The CRRSAA project will be going to bid in the next several weeks. At this time, we believe the roof top units can be directly purchased by the District via a cooperative purchasing agreement. Once the bids for the remaining work are received, the scope for this first phase will be established.

This approach will require a SED submission, but we believe the resolution for the referendum is broad enough for the work to be incorporated.

The work would receive SED approval by fall and the work would be bid and competed next summer.

Second Phase

This phase would include three major work elements. These elements would include boiler replacement, fire alarm replacement and temperature control upgrades. These items are highlighted in yellow on the attached work listing.

Third Phase

This phase will include all work items (that can be afforded) with the exception of the turf baseball and softball fields, and related work. Those items cannot receive a building permit until October of 2024 in order for the maximum cost allowance (MCA) to reset. It will be necessary to do a small amount of work in each building to allow for the sitework to be aided.

The third phase items will be those not highlighted on the attached work listing. Please note we do not believe that all these can be accomplished under the funding limitations, and the fact that work items were added after the referendum total was established. The team will work together to establish the priorities of these items.

At this time, we anticipate designing the turf fields during this phase. This will allow Turner to estimate all the remaining work and also explore purchasing the field(s) under a cooperative purchasing agreement.

Fourth Phase

The work items to be included in this phase are highlighted in green on the item listing attached. The building items may be modified as the design proceeds but we have identified potential items at this time.
