School District Goals

Deerfield:

By June 2022, Deerfield principal, classroom teachers, and support staff will analyze students’ performance data to ensure fluidity and equity of support services.  Students will receive support based on individual student performance data.

 

Hart’s Hill:

By June 2022, 100 percent of Hart’s Hill faculty and staff will engage in activities that nurture the whole child as evidenced by their actions and behaviors.

 

Marcy:

By June 2022, 100 percent of each and every faculty, staff, and student will express higher levels of social emotional well-being as defined by CASEL’S Framework to include self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision making.

By June 2022, each and every staff member will effectively differentiate instruction to support individual student needs.

 

Westmoreland Road:

By continuing PBIS and re-establishing the student/staff mentoring program and learning environment. This will be evidenced by data tracking. This will be led by the principal, staff mentors and the PBIS team. Results will be shared in a report by June 2022.

During the 2021-2022 school year, 100 percent of teachers will begin working with colleagues to clarify essential learning skills, concepts using NYS Standards, and district materials to create content and curriculum maps for all content areas.

 

Middle School Campus:

By April 2022 the campus leaders, teachers, teaching assistants, and all support staff will work to implement universal supports and resources to promote social and emotional development and mental health across the campus as evidenced by a 10 percent decline in feelings of sadness, dealing with not a very good school year, and students who need to manage feelings.

By April 2022., the Middle School Campus students will have a 10 percent increase in positive feelings about the school year, as evidenced by October 2021 and April 2022 surveys.

 

High School:

Based on trends from multiple sources of data, by June 2023, our students will demonstrate increased participation and engagement in courses/clubs as a result of student interest.
