Assistant Superintendent

Mr. David Russo

Mr. Russo began his position as Assistant Superintendent for Learning and Accountability in October 2016. Prior to this position, Mr. Russo served as the Principal of Westmoreland Road Elementary with the Whitesboro Central School District for over eight years. He also served as a Principal with the Holland Patent Central School District from July 2005 to December 2008. Prior to becoming an administrator, his career as a teacher began in 1997 with the Utica City School District. In September 1999, he joined the Whitesboro Central School District as a teacher at Hart's Hill Elementary until June 2005. He holds Permanent New York State Certification in Elementary Education Pre K-6, Reading Teacher K-12, and School District Administrator. Mr. Russo is a resident of Whitesboro, New York with his wife and two children.
