Superintendent

Dear Whitesboro Central School District Community,

Welcome to the Whitesboro Central School District.

It is a privilege to serve as superintendent of a school district with such a strong tradition of excellence and such a deep commitment to its students, staff, families and community.

For the past 24 years, I have had the opportunity to serve Whitesboro as a teacher, principal and assistant superintendent. Those experiences have provided me with a tremendous appreciation for the people who make our District such a special place and for the many partnerships that contribute to the success of our students.

As we move forward together, our focus remains on providing every student with meaningful opportunities to learn, grow and reach their full potential. We will continue to build on the strengths of our schools while embracing new ideas and opportunities that prepare our students for success today and in the future.

The success of the Whitesboro Central School District has always been a shared effort. Our students, families, faculty, staff, Board of Education and community all play an important role in creating the Whitesboro experience. Strong schools are built through strong relationships, open communication and a shared commitment to doing what is best for our students.

I look forward to working with our entire school community as we continue to strengthen our schools, celebrate the accomplishments of our students and staff and create new opportunities for every learner.

Thank you for your continued support of the Whitesboro Central School District. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve this community and look forward to the work we will accomplish together.

Sincerely,

David J. Russo
