50th Foreign Student Day
On March 7, the Whitesboro High School International Club commemorated the 50th Foreign Student Day.
The event welcomed 16 exchange students from diverse nations, including Thailand, Spain, France, China and Germany. The program featured a comprehensive itinerary, beginning with a welcome breakfast and introductions at Whitesboro High School, followed by a schoolwide assembly showcasing student introductions!
There was a documentary presentation by Universal Language Solutions’ Kaylie Sweet and a cultural fashion show highlighting traditional attire from countries such as Afghanistan, Bosnia and Morocco. Students also participated in a traditional Moroccan game.
The afternoon included a catered lunch and classroom visits. The day culminated with a dinner dance at Club Monarch, fostering intercultural connections through dining, music and entertainment.
