Boys Swimming Senior Night

Boys swimming senior

On January 23, Matthew Wilkosz, Whitesboro High School's only boy swimmer, was recognized at Rome Free Academy (RFA) during Senior Night.

Matthew was one of six seniors honored, and the only male representing Whitesboro. Matthew has participated in the RFA swim meet schedule for the past three years. During the Senior Night tri-meet, Matthew won both the 200 freestyle and 100 butterfly, while also improving upon his own previous school records for each event.

The night was made extra special by the presence of both the new Athletic Director Andrew Massoud and Mike Deuel as they showed support for Matthew. Matthew plans on studying medicine in college, while continuing his swimming career. Congratulations and thank you to Matthew for your years of representing Whitesboro as a "team of one" for boys swimming!
