Deerfield Kindergarten Meet and Greet

On August 28, Deerfield Elementary School held its Kindergarten Meet and Greet. Incoming kindergarten students had the opportunity to see their classroom, meet their teacher, greet new friends and familiarize themselves with the school to limit first-day jitters.
By giving students and their parents and guardians the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the school, teacher and other students prior to the start of the new school year, they’re able to build positive relationships that promote future success.
Deerfield Elementary teachers and staff can’t wait to welcome the incoming kindergartners on the first day of school!
