On March 21, Westmoreland Road Elementary School held their annual fifth grade floor hockey Coffee Cup Championship Game.
Prior to the championship game, students played hard during a round robin tournament in physical education classes and recess time. Heart and hustle went into many hard-fought games.
Representing the boys in the championship game were the Underdogs v. the Sharkinators. The girls’ game was between the California Girls v. The Cacaws. Congratulations to the winners, Sharkinators and The Cacaws!
Coach Temple, coach Lenard, players and spectators would like to thank the Utica Comets for teaming up with us this year and sending two Comets players to help with the championship games.
