On October 29, new members of the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) were inducted during a ceremony held in the middle school auditorium.
Opening remarks were made by Middle School Assistant Principal Mr. Spost and students then spoke about each of the NJHS values. NJHS President Cecilia Pekala spoke about character and service, NJHS Vice President Egan Zammiello about citizenship, NJHS Secretary Maria Odarchuk spoke about leadership and NJHS Treasurer Pearl Churchfield spoke about scholarship.
Certificates were given to each new member of NJHS and Ms. Hula, an English teacher and student council advisor, was the guest speaker. Following the guest speaker, Middle School Principal Mr. Egresits provided the closing remarks.
