Parkway School Kicks Off the Holiday Season with Festive Winter Concert

On December 4, Parkway School kicked off the holiday season with its festive winter concert, featuring lively performances by the sixth grade orchestra, chorus and band. The concert showcased a joyful mix of beloved holiday classics and fresh secular tunes, filling the room with festive cheer!

The sixth grade orchestra, directed by Ms. Janelle Conklin, brought joy to the audience with Fiddler's Hoedown (arr. Gillespie), Fantasy on Greensleeves (arr. Williams), and 'Tis the Season (arr. Owens). The sixth grade chorus, directed by Mrs. Chantelle Nobis, spread holiday cheer with Believe from The Polar Express (arr. Huff) and the joyful classic Do-Re-Mi from The Sound of Music (arr. Brymer). The sixth grade band, directed by Mrs. Erin Joslin, wrapped up the evening with lively tunes, including Have a Swingin' Merry Christmas (arr. Wagner), Spring (Standridge), and Thrill Ride (Balmages).

Congratulations to all our talented student musicians for filling the night with festive cheer and making the concert a memorable celebration of the season!
