On January 16, the Whitesboro varsity hockey team hosted the Adaptive Edge Skating school program at the Whitestown Ice Rink.

Adaptive Edge Skating is a volunteer-run program available to children and adults of all abilities.  The program uses a team approach to assist individuals with special needs, allowing them to participate in the program at the level they’re comfortable with. Coaches and volunteers are skilled in skating and knowledgeable about working with individuals with developmental and cognitive delays. The program promotes inclusion and acceptance and encourages opportunities for relationship building, teamwork and socialization.
