Whitesboro Girls Gymnastics Team Competes In NYSPHSAA Championship

On March 1, the Whitesboro girls gymnastics team competed against fellow Section III gymnasts at the NYSPHSAA Championship, held at Clarence High School in Buffalo, after qualifying at sectionals on October 25.
Section III won the Team State Championship title with a score of 186.55 over second place Section I with a score of 186.325.
Members of the State Championship team included 12th grader Lily Wehrle, 11th graders Karley Hughes and Genevieve Michel and eighth grader Abby Lipe. Other members of the team were representatives from New Hartford, Sauquoit, Oriskany, Central Square, Jamesville Dewitt and Fayetteville Manlius.
