Middle School Students Collect Items for Those in Need

Students on the Middle School Campus have been doing their part this school year to make a difference for those in need.

During the month of November, the Middle School Student Council hosted the Feed Our Vets Food Drive. Students collected a full truck’s worth of canned and non-perishable foods, which were then donated to the Feed Our Vets Food Pantry in Utica. The incredible generosity of the Middle School Campus is always appreciated by the local veterans.

In the month of December, middle school students – along with the other schools in the Whitesboro Central School District – collected toys for the Stuff the Bus School Challenge. Stuff the Bus is an annual toy drive that was created to help children in the Mohawk Valley have a happy holiday season, despite any financial hardships their families may be facing.

To kick off the new year, students on the Middle School Campus worked together with other area schools to host a Chemo Bag Drive, which wrapped up in mid-February. The purpose of the drive was to provide Chemo Comfort Bags for local people who are undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatments.

Thank you to the Middle School Campus community for the generosity and kindness they’ve shown toward those in need!
