Westmoreland Road Students Learn Hands-Only CPR

During the week of November 18, students at Westmoreland Road Elementary School were taught skills that could be used to save someone’s life.

Students learned how to determine whether or not CPR is needed, and how to perform the life-saving measure. They practiced their compressions using a ball for several minutes, then played a game of tag involving hands-only CPR. It was both a fun and educational game to get kids practicing the skills they had just learned.
