Congratulations Class of 2019!

Two-hundred forty-one students belonging to the Class of 2019 are officially high school graduates.

The 84th Annual Whitesboro High School Commencement was held June 22 at The Adirondack Bank Center at the Utica Memorial Auditorium. The ceremony began with the graduates entering the auditorium as the Whitesboro High School Symphonic Band played the traditional “Pomp and Circumstance,” followed by “The Star Spangled Banner.” The High School Senior and Chamber Choirs then performed the Whitesboro “Alma Mater” and “In My Life,” and the High School Symphonic Band followed by performing “Mambo” from “West Side Story.” It was a final opportunity for the senior members of the chorus and symphonic band to perform one last time with their respective groups.

High School Principal Mr. Kuhn, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Bellair, and Board of Education President Mr. Head all gave remarks during the ceremony, while Spencer Wyman, the representative of the highest honors graduates, and Maheen Qureshi, the president of the senior class, both gave the class address.

Students then walked across the stage one-by-one to receive their diplomas from Board of Education President Mr. Head and Board of Education Vice President Mr. McQueen.

Congratulations to the Class of 2019, and best of luck on your future!
