Chris O’Neil Appointed as Director of Pupil Personnel Services
The start of a new school year also brings the start of a new position within the Whitesboro Central School District for Whitesboro High School Assistant Principal Chris O’Neil. Following the retirement of Beth Ann Blynt, O’Neil will take on a new role as director of Pupil Personnel Services, effective Sept. 1.
After finishing his undergraduate studies, O’Neil began working for the Whitesboro Central School District, where he has spent his entire academic career of 26 years. Twenty of those years were spent as a music teacher, and the last three of those years were also spent serving as the K-12 Music Department chairperson.
For the last six years, O’Neil served as assistant principal for students in 9th and 10th grade at the high school.
“I’m looking forward to beginning a new role here in the Whitesboro Central School District,” O’Neil said.
The District would like to congratulate Mr. O’Neil on his new position, and thank him for the many years he has dedicated to the students of the Whitesboro Central School District.
