Whitesboro Educators Honored at Genesis Group’s Annual Celebration of Education

Four Whitesboro Central School District educators and the former superintendent of schools were honored at The Genesis Group’s 14th Annual Celebration of Education, which was held at Hart’s Hill Inn in Whitesboro on Nov. 21.

The Celebration of Education is an annual event that honors educators and educational programs throughout the Mohawk Valley that positively impact students, schools and the community.

The four Whitesboro educators who were honored include Sean Ryan, an AP Biology and Living Environment teacher at Whitesboro High School, who also serves as chair of the Science Department; Tamala Smith, assistant principal at Parkway; Kate Radell, a fifth grade teacher at Hart’s Hill Elementary; and Ann Cough, a first grade teacher at Marcy Elementary.

Former Whitesboro Central School District Superintendent of Schools David Langone was also inducted into the Education Hall of Distinction.
