The Whitestown Youth Association Girls Lacrosse Summer Clinic will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays throughout the month of July, and it’s open to all girls in grades K-8 in the Whitesboro Central School District. The clinic is meant to introduce new players to the game of lacrosse and improve the skills of returning players.
The clinic will begin on Wednesday, July 7 and it will be held from 8-10 a.m. on July 7, 12, 14, 19, 21, 26 and 28. It will be held at the Whitestown Town Park, located at 5175 Gibson Road in Whitesboro.
The cost to participate is $30, and you must have a current US Lacrosse Insurance membership, which is available at usalacrosse.com.
Lacrosse sticks and goggles will be provided for those who need them, and players will need to bring their own mouthpieces, water and footwear. A cleated shoe such as soccer and baseball cleats work best.
