Whitesboro CSD Welcomes New Teachers for the 2021-2022 School Year

On August 25-26, the Whitesboro Central School District held a two-day orientation for new teachers at the District administration building.

The orientation was led by Kelly Smith, a kindergarten teacher at Marcy Elementary School, and Dawn Zielenski, a second grade teacher at Marcy Elementary School. During the orientation, each of the new teachers were introduced to District administrators, District policies and procedures and basic expectations. Some of the topics included: District technology, teacher evaluation procedures, special education, fire inspection and safety information, union membership, and Whitesboro Teacher Center offerings. New teachers also had the opportunity to work with other teachers in their subject area.

The Whitesboro Central School District is pleased to welcome all of its new instructional and school-related staff for the 2021-2022 school year!

The collective mission of the Whitesboro Central School District is, “To inspire, cultivate and empower all learners to maximize their potential.”
