Whitesboro Central School District held their annual National Letter of Intent Signing Date on November 10, where four student-athletes committed to both Division I and Division II colleges and universities for the 2022-23 academic school year.
Ryan Cook and Madison Wisheart signed to Central Connecticut State University and Sacred Heart University, both Division I in the NCAA. Cook threw 28 innings for the Warriors in 2021, accumulating 27 strikeouts with an 0.75 earned run average (2-1 record). He also hit .333 with 11 runs scored. Wisheart accumulated five goals and five assists in 18 games as a senior.
Cecilia Lapertosa and Brian Zbytniewski committed to Queens College and Mercy College, both Division II in the NCAA. Lapertosa scored 178 points in 10 games as a junior (17.8 points per game), while Zbytniewski hit .327 with 12 runs batted in and one stolen base in 2021. He also had 22 strikeouts in 17 innings pitched, going 3-1 with an 1.64 ERA as a junior for the Warriors.
