REGISTER NOW: Summer Basketball Camp to be Offered for Boys Entering Grades 2-9

A summer basketball camp is being offered to boys in the Whitesboro Central School District entering grades 2-9 this July. The camp is being run by Whitesboro Boys Varsity Basketball Coach Garrett Herthum, along with his staff members and some of his players. The cost is $90.00.

When: July 9-12, 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

Why: To instruct players on the fundamentals of basketball, while providing an atmosphere that incorporates skills, healthy competition and fun! The camp includes stretching, stations, daily lectures and games.

Registration forms will be accepted until the first day of the camp, unless registration is capped.

Additional Information: If your child is participating in the camp, please make sure he wears comfortable, weather appropriate clothing and sneakers. Also, pizza and Gatorade will be provided each day. Two slices of pizza and a Gatorade costs $5.00. Lunch can be paid for in advance with the registration fee. Players may also bring their own lunch.

The camp is being sponsored by the Whitestown Optimist Club.
